What to photograph
- Remodel or repair: one wide shot, then close-ups of the areas to change.
- Basement: every wall, the ceiling, the floor, and visible pipes or water marks.
- Flooring or tile: the full room and a close-up of the current floor.
- Damage: the area up close and from a distance, only if safe.
- New build: the lot, the street view, and any plans or sketches.
Tips
- Use daylight or turn the lights on.
- Include a tape measure or known object for scale.
- Take 5 to 10 photos.
- Never enter unsafe areas for a photo.
- Leave faces and documents out of the photos.

Basement remodeling
A remodeled basement can become a family room, home office, guest space, or gym. We assess moisture, headroom, access, and structure at the site visit and report in writing before work begins.

We replace carpet with new flooring and upgrade floors to tile in kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and living spaces.
Storm, fire & water damage
Prompt assessment matters after damage. We assess the damage in person and provide the rebuild plan in writing. We do not give insurance, legal, or engineering advice, and cannot promise insurance approval.

What is the easiest way to start?

Can I get an estimate from photos?
Yes. Photos let us provide a rough range without a visit. A firm quote requires a site visit.
What photos should I send?
One wide shot of the whole space, then close-ups of what you want changed or fixed. A tape measure or known object helps with scale. Five to ten photos is ideal.
What is the difference between a rough estimate and a quote?
A rough estimate is a ballpark range from photos and your description. A quote is a firm written price after we see the job in person.
Are my photos private?
Yes. We use them only to prepare your estimate and never post them publicly.
How long will my project take?
It depends on scope, permits, materials, and weather. We share a plan at your site visit and update you weekly. We do not promise timelines before we see the job.
Should I remodel or rebuild?
If the structure is sound, a remodel often gives you the new look with less disruption. If damage or layout problems run deep, rebuilding can make sense. A site visit gives the honest answer, and we put both options in writing.
Can you finish my basement?
Yes. We look at moisture, headroom, access, and structure at the site visit and tell you in writing if anything needs fixing first.
What should I do after storm, fire, or water damage?
Get safe. Call 911 for danger. Photograph the damage if it is safe. Call your insurer. Then send us the photos.
Do you handle insurance claims?
We rebuild and repair. Insurance decisions belong to your insurer, and we cannot promise approval.
Are you licensed and insured?
Those documents are available on request. A person verifies each request and sends what you need.
